The Brunnenburg is home to an agricultural museum. In addition to visiting the castle, various ancient species of domestic animal. Open from early April to early November. Closed Fridays and Saturdays. www.brunnenburg.net

Visit Dorf Tirol’s Bird Doctor!

Bird of prey flying demonstration in the Bird Care Centre.
The bird doctor takes in injured and helpless birds, cares for them and releases them again. These kings of the air can be experienced up close during the flying demonstrations, which take place twice a day at 11.15 am and 3.15 pm. Open from April to the beginning of November, closed Mondays. Open 7 days a week throughout August.


Around 3000 children’s books and 1000 books for teenagers are available. Hauptstr. 13/a, side entrance of the vicarage.

Suitable trails in Dorf Tirol:

  • Falkner Promenade to Tyrol Castle (steep climb just before the castle)

Tyrol Castle gives you the chance to travel through time. Open from mid-March to early December. Closed Mondays.
