Hiking around Alpine huts

Start: station at the bottom Saltaus
Return: via intermediate station Prenn

Route: With Hirzer cable railways you get to the top station Klammeben (1980m) and go on to Alpine refuge P.ta Cervina (1.980m). Your hiking trip takes you on to the Alpine hut Hintereggalm (1.990m) and to the near Mahdalm (2000m). For your descent follow the marked path to the Alpine hut Gompmalm (1808m) and vie Alpine in Hochwies (1584m) finally to the intermediate station Prenn.
Difficulty: easy and well marked
Duration: 3-4 hours
